Valhallan Conversion Question

Ok I have finally gotten around to reading the new IG codex and I like what I have read. It has inspired me to start my very first large conversion army. In the past I have had a few models throughout my army that I have converted but now I am looking to improve my conversion skill and the amount of converting present in my army.

I am a big fan of the Ciaphas Cain 40K novels and so I want to make the Vahallan 597th. I could just order the Vahallans a $35 for a 10 man squad, but I have about 60 plastic Cadians just hanging around and would like to put them to good use. I had seen a tutorial on the web for converting Cadians to Valhallans about a year ago, but I searched for hours last night with no luck.

So what I am looking for is some ideas on how to convert plastic Cadians into Vahallans with great coats. I know I will be using allot of green stuff so if you have any suggestions or know where that online tutorial is I would be very grateful. I will also be needing to convert some female troopers as the 597th is a mixed company so any ideas for making females guard would be most helpful as well.

Thanks in advance for any ideas/help you may have.

I've made great coats for cadians, by adding a sheet of thin gs to lengthen the cadian shirt. Place it so that the ends meet in the front of the model, where the cadian shirt is open. Helmets are essentially bulky bowls, so you can bulk out the cadian helmet. A Valhallan winter hat tut: http://colgravis.blogspot.com/2009/06/tutorial-valhallan-style-winter-caps.html
